DetailsSitting in his cozy cave this woodland bear awakens from a long winter’s nap. The bear is resin and the cave is carved from a goose egg. Modeling paste was used on the eggshell and painted in layers of grays and browns to resemble the walls of the cave. Real pebbles, twigs and foliage were used inside and at the base of of the stand to add a natural effect. The egg sits on a gold plated metal stand.
