A resin orca whale figure leaping out from the sparkling ocean waters into the air is inspired by those I have viewed in the Peugeot Sound of Washington and in the waters around Alaska. A goose egg has been cut with an oval opening and a working door that depicts additional waves. The inside of the egg has been painted blue to resemble the sky and a very fine iridescent glitter adds sparkle to both the sky and on the peaks of each of the waves. Surrounding the oval are two rows of gold cording, a row of sapphire rhinestone chain, a row of pearl beads and finally a row of white and gold picot braid. The intricate openings of the door have been covered with a shimmering gauze in a variety of blue hues. The waves are edged in a fine gold Japanese tinsel and iridescent rhinestones. The egg sits in a gold plated metal stand that has been placed on a corian base. The top finial includes additional gold plated metal findings, and pearl and blue crystal beads.
